On October 21 and November 4, 2023, the Gordie Howe International Bridge project team hosted Community Appreciation Breakfasts in Detroit and Windsor to celebrate five years of construction, recent project milestones and show appreciation towards the community for their ongoing patience and support during construction of the Gordie Howe International Bridge. Both events included breakfast, musical entertainment, photo booths and activities for all ages.
The project team is appreciative of the communities of both sides of the border and thanks everyone who came out to celebrate.
