Windsor-Detroit Cross-River Tour

The Windsor-Detroit Cross-River Tour is an international Community Benefits Plan initiative that celebrates the unique culture, history and diversity of the Sandwich/west Windsor and Delray/Southwest Detroit communities through interpretive signage that will be placed along pedestrian and cycling paths leading to the Ports of Entry in Windsor, Ontario and Detroit, Michigan. 

To deliver this initiative, the project team will engage local community members and subject-matter experts through the Community Stories Committee to support the identification and development of content for the interpretive signs that celebrates important moments in each community’s history and celebrates the region’s culture and diversity. The application period for the Community Stories Committee is now closed.
