TIMING: 2020-2024

PARTNER: Local Community Organizations Determined Annually

The Neighbourhood Infrastructure Strategy of the Community Benefits Plan includes a commitment to provide a $100,000 (CDN) annual investment allowance for community organizations located in or serving Sandwich/west Windsor or Delray/Southwest Detroit residents for a five-year duration from 2020 – 2024. Following consultation with community partners, the project team has committed to increasing the annual investment to $200,000 (CDN) for the 2023 and 2024 funding cycles. Each community will receive $100,000 in funding for the remaining two years. 

Applications are no longer being accepted for the 2024 Community Organization Investment initiative. Stay tuned to hear about the exciting community initiatives selected to receive funding.
