A group of spectators at Windsor City Hall

On January 30, 2019, representatives from Windsor-Detroit Bridge Authority (WDBA) had the opportunity to be a part of Let’s Talk – a local Windsor-based talk show produced by local students.

Students, educators, and local officials along with WDBA gathered to discuss the past, present and future of Sandwich Towne. The discussion featured the Gordie Howe International Bridge project and its positive impact for the community. WDBA highlighted key facts about its Community Benefits Plan for Sandwich Towne and answered questions about the project.

“This was a great chance for us to connect with the youth of the Windsor region and hear their thoughts and feedback on the community of Sandwich Towne.”

Heather Grondin, Vice-President, Communications and Stakeholder Relations, WDBA

Students from General Brock, Marlborough, and the University of Windsor shared their thoughts about the Sandwich community and their visions for the future.
