WINDSOR, ONTARIO – The following statement was issued today by Bryce Phillips, Chief Executive Officer - Windsor-Detroit Bridge Authority

“As a Canadian Crown corporation governed by a Board of Directors, Windsor-Detroit Bridge Authority (WDBA) is delighted to welcome new board members Jeff Allsop and Helga Reidel. I look forward to working together to advance the Gordie Howe International Bridge project.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank outgoing members Michael Mueller and Shelly Cunningham for their consistent and thoughtful guidance during their terms.

The Board of Directors has overall responsibility for the oversight of WDBA, holds management accountable for fulfilling WDBA’s statutory mandate and achieving corporate objectives, and ensures that significant risks to the corporation are identified and well managed. It also plays an important role in setting WDBA’s strategic direction and ensuring alignment with the priorities of the Government of Canada.”
