WINDSOR, ONTARIO – The following statement was issued today by Bryce Phillips, Chief Executive Officer - Windsor-Detroit Bridge Authority

“Windsor-Detroit Bridge Authority (WDBA) is honoured to welcome new member, Mr. Roy Norton, to the International Authority.

Mr. Norton is a respected and seasoned diplomat with a long career in international relations. He will join existing International Authority members bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to the Gordie Howe International Bridge project.

The International Authority plays an important role for the project. They are a joint Canada- Michigan governance entity responsible for monitoring compliance with the Crossing Agreement signed by Canada and Michigan in 2012.

We look forward to working with Mr. Norton as we continue to move forward with the construction of the Gordie Howe International Bridge project.”
