On November 6, 2019, WDBA staff were proud to participate in the ‘Take your kid to work day’. The annual event enables youth to discover the diverse career opportunities within the Gordie Howe International Bridge project. This year, two students participated – Ayesha Minal and Jerome Morales. They were given a tour of the office and introduced to the different departments within WDBA including Finance, Engineering, Communications and Human Resources. In addition to meeting full time staff, students had the chance to sit down with the current University of Windsor and St. Clair co-op students to learn what a day in the life of a WDBA co-op student is like.  To end the day, students had an opportunity to speak with WDBA’s CEO, Bryce Philips and were presented with a certificate.

WDBA strongly believes in encouraging youth within our community to discover career paths they are passionate about. We hope that all the students enjoyed visiting WDBA and connecting with our staff, and we look forward to providing this experience to many more students in the future.
