Statement by Charl van Niekerk, Chief Executive Officer, Windsor-Detroit Bridge Authority

Windsor, Ontario - The following statement was issued today by Charl van Niekerk, Chief Executive Officer, Windsor-Detroit Bridge Authority (WDBA)

“Today, the Honourable Sean Fraser, Minister of Housing, Infrastructure and Communities, announced the reappointments of Karla Avis-Birch and Marie Campagna to WDBA’s Board of Directors for a period of two years. 

Ms. Avis-Birch and Ms. Campagna have served on WDBA’s Board of Directors since 2017, and bring considerable depth of knowledge to the Gordie Howe International Bridge project and WDBA. 

WDBA is pleased with these reappointments and congratulates Ms. Avis-Birch and Ms. Campagna. We look forward to our continued relationship as construction of the Gordie Howe International Bridge project progresses.”
